-Supervise and ensure the implementation of safety procedures and processes in field-Monitors and coordinates the designated operation from DCS with panel operator, ensuring safe and -efficient start up, shutdown & normal operation.-Mitigate process emergencies and emergency shutdowns-Operate the panel and use APC to ensure safety and smooth operation- Production reporting and management of hydrocarbon allocation.- Prepare daily performance summaries to monitor plant performance, Includes studying laboratory test reports and compiling information for supervisor’s review, Highlights abnormalities and discuss with supervisor on corrective actions for discussions.- Understand and ensure that the correct engineering documentation, procedures and manuals are in place for operations and maintenance of process plant and equipmentSupervise and follow implementation of safety procedures and processes in the fields-Ensure risk assessment and tool box talk prior to job execution-Support training of new hires-Risk assessments during equipment hand over take over and process jobs-Providing field training to the field Executives/subordinates Process design calculations for the improvement schemesOperations of large compressors/blowers/pumps/furnaces/ incinerators -Perform root cause analysis-Identify opportunities for profit improvement-Identify opportunities for product quality enhancement

The summer internship was in process designing department which includes :• Basic engineeringwnich includes, Conceptualization of Process, Mass & Energy balance.• Basic hydraulic calculations like pump hydraulics, Line sizing etc.• Designing of various equipment such as separator, compressor, etc.• Preparation of Process Data Sheets and equipment data sheets.• Perform engineering calculation such as control valve sizing, PSV relief load calculation and sizing etc.• Preparation of PFD and P&ID.
