My work lies in the intersection of computer networks, distributed/embedded systems, security/privacy, and machine learning –– spanning from design and analysis of algorithms and network protocols, to modeling, optimization, online learning (RL), and statistical analysis, to building prototypes and designing/implementing elegant and scalable software systems. At Apple, I help design, architect, and develop next-generation networking technologies for iOS, macOS, watchOS, and visionOS platforms. I'm privileged to work on products that make a difference in people's lives and help them realize their dreams. I thrive working with cross-functional engineering teams to create new partnerships, and help deliver elegant, scalable, and highly performant software & services in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment.Previously, I ideated and led various SBIR/STTR projects with Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, winning grants, collaborating with business partners, and helping build prototypes and deploy advanced technologies.In my academic life, I was a postdoc at Princeton and an Adjunct Faculty at USC. I’ve published over 25 research papers with 2300+ citations in top-tier IEEE/ACM journals and conferences, and served as a TPC member for many of them. I've also been invited as a speaker at many industry/university research labs, and as a panelist at the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the US Army Research Office (ARO).
