Project and Technical leader for QPSK IV (G series), vital head-end equipment in DSN, Digital Subscriber Network, currently supporting two-way communication for 30 million subscribers. • Designed and developed a pseudo-persistent database on QPSK which allows STB to retain IP connectivity during reboots and downloads. This and other changes improved the STB connectivity. and reduced downtime by more than 100000 % and transformed QPSK from a downloading device to a reliable ( 7 sigma) two-way communicating device. • Managed a joint venture with Wave 7 Optics, an optical transmission company, for the Fiber to the home system. Responsible for management support, coding (QPSK), and performance testing of the system. • Managed the design, development, and testing for a new Demod. Developed many in-house tools to facilitate the testing that helped in debugging.
