Currently i am working in Anode Service Plant as Operation Executive in ARP(Anode Rodding Plant) looking after following roles and responsibilities:-As a Quality Control professional, I am responsible for ensuring the quality of anodes that are shifted to the reduction process in the Pot room. In this critical role, I am responsible for implementing and monitoring quality control procedures to ensure that the anodes meet the required specifications and standards for the reduction process. • Department Report :* Generate or assist in generation of any departmental reports are prepared as per management request, in a timely and accurate manner to meet company and department requirements. • HSE Compliance:* Health, Safety & Environmental compliance in order to protect personal and physical assets. •Continuous Improvement:* Provide input and recommend the continuous improvement of the company practices taking into account “ International best practices “ change in international standards and change in the business environment which demand proactive action plans. • Skills Enhancement:* Assist Shift Supervisor in introducing new tools and techniques and work routines to shift workers in orders to increase awareness and improve efficiency. • Maintenance Support:* Perform 1st line Maintenance on equipment in order to minimise costly downtime or escalate as needed.

Worked as shift incharge and looking after all the safety non-compliance, Supply Chain Operations, Manpower Handling, Documentation, 5S Implementation in the area, Team Leader with 5 direct employees for small improvements/projects like Kaizen, QC/LQC for improving efficiency and productivity.Inculcating a culture of safety by conducting Tool Box Talks (TBTs) and Behavior based safety (BBS) talks before start of every task and motivating team members to report Unsafe Acts, Unsafe Conditions, Near Misses and other incidents and potential hazards experienced during the shift. Ensuring Risk assessment of every task before conduction and reviewing SOPs and associated HIRADeC continuously.Process:• Ensuring documentation, implementation and sustenance before work starting as per job specific SOPs and HIRADeC for proper work culture in the area. • Achieving target Cost of Production (COP) as per the Business Plan by charging the CP coke through belt conveyor to silos. • Ensuring the quality of our product (Green Anode) based on our customer requirements by keeping a track of our production parameters. * Key Achievements:- 1. Annual Saving of more than 15000000 as demurrage in case of unloading of CP coke placement. 2. Achieve Highest ever anode production in a single month (i.e; 43013) which is highest ever production by GAP. 3. Successfully completed commissioning of Bag Filter project in all TP’s points to enhance performance and reduce carbon dust in Dec’194. Got Bronze medal for Participation in TQM competition on 5S module and implementation. 5. Approximately 20 new KAIZEN projects were taken and completed in the financial year 2021-22 for area enhancements and development.
