Hi, I'm Amitav Singh Sports and Exercise Physiologist with a diverse background in physical education and sports science. I belong from the lush green mountains of Darjeeling India where my journey started to persue career in health and fitness industry. My core background includes a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Sports Science, a Diploma in Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, and an Advanced Diploma in Swimming.I further sharpened my skills with a Masters of science in Exercise Physiology and its application in therapy from the prestigious University of Galway (formerly known as the National University of Ireland). My commitment to integrity in this rapidly growing industry is reflected in certifications like Health and Doping from World Anti-Doping Agency and various accreditations like Sports Events Management, Professional Sports Management, Sports Media, Sports Medicine, and Sports Psychology from Athlete 365 (An initiative by International Olympic committee)With three years working in academics as a faculty Associate at Inspiria Knowledge Campus in the sports department I taught more than 500 undergraduate students along with designing the flagship gym centre with advanced Facility. With development of course structure I started various collaboration events with big names in the industry such as Reliance Foundation, Red bull and FIBA 3x3 along with a lot of sports educational events. I founded 360 Degree Fitness Academy, fostering comprehensive fitness education in 2019. After relocating to Ireland I've also served as a Customer Service Executive at HeadSpace Group in Galway headquarters, showcasing my versatile skill set. My dedication extends beyond professional roles. I've volunteered as a fitness instructor for Paralympian athletes at Ability West Galway, emphasizing inclusivity in sports. Additionally, I contributed to the Event Management Team at the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023.On the field, I've excelled as a National-level martial arts player and showcased my prowess in lacrosse and basketball at the university level championships. I always believe in promoting a healthy lifestyle through sports, exercise and recreational activities.
