Building short term trading strategies on the S&P500 index using various technical indicators like momentum, strength, volatility, etc with an aim to beat the market and generate alpha. Using financial data since 2005 for training and backtesting.

Calculated sentiment scores of all tweets prior to and after the date of quarterly earnings announcement for the stocks under S&P500 using NLP. Aim was to observe if social media activity of companies had any effect on their stock price movements around the earnings announcement dates.

•Organised Global Entrepreneurship Summit(GES) 2021 at IIT Kharagpur with the E-Cell team which experienced an exemplary line-up of prominent speakers, informative workshops and panel discussions related to queries on Entrepreneurship.•Publicised GES in Kolkata as part of the PR team, 200+ participants were from Kolkata itself. Overall, GES ‘21 had a whopping 1600+ participants from all over the country.•Worked with the Competitions and Associations team to conduct Intern Carnival and GES Pitchers during the summit. Had the opportunity to interact with various startups and help them in providing internships to a wide range of applicants during Intern Carnival. Acted as coordinator during the startup idea pitching event, GES Pitchers.
