Each of the new organisations mandated specific confidentiality requirements, with respect to data ownership and access by other organisations. I proposed a shared schema multi-tenant database architecture which could be configured to data access policies derived from the confidentiality requirements. I guided a small team to develop a proof of concept across the various technology stacks in use, and to implement the architecture with minimal changes to the existing information systems. This resulted in significant OPEX savings for the portfolio, by removing the need for multiple hosting environments and associated re-engineering, licensing, and support efforts.

I was the Technical Architect and Project Lead for Satyam's first project “Orion CORD” from UK Office of the Investment Managers Group of Merrill Lynch. My responsibilities included Project Management concerns such as Budget, Schedule, Resource Planning, External Contacts and Team Motivation. I was responsible for Process Observance. I held the key responsibilities for Requirements Analysis and System Architecture and on occasions designed, implemented, and tested Complex Sub-Systems. The application was developed using J2EE technologies.AchievementsSuccessful turn around of the Orion project from an unmitigated disaster to one where the customers awarded us two more projects based on the successfully acceptance and going live of the application developed. Need low cost Web Mailing, Web Marketing and B2C eCommerce Solutions.• Developed and defined a new Software Development Methodology tailored for Netsurf.• Put the methodology to practice within the organization for developing Netsurf’s new line of products by training and mentoring the Software Engineering Group Staff.• Managed the initiative to a successful launch in less than 12 months.

I was involved in research that has contributed to the development of the K2 Web Services Platform. The K2 Web Services Platform enables enterprises to adopt Web Services Strategy and develop, deploy and manage their internal and external web services based on UDDI, WSDL, SOAP and XML. Some of the effort involved understanding of the IEEE’s Reference Model for Open Distributed Processing and OMG’s Model Driven Architecture. The focus of the research was the development of a high performance UDDI registry.

I was actively involved with designing and delivering software engineering and technology courses for the Education and Research Department at Infosys.

I worked in various Software Engineering roles, first as a Software Developer/Programmer and later as a Software Analyst and Technical Lead. All projects that I worked on were for international customers like Nestle, Franklin Templeton, Dynegy and Amex. I learnt the practical aspects of Project Management from my experience with managing Modules within the Software Projects and assisting the Project Managers with tasks such as Planning, Adopting and Implementing Software Development Strategies, Effort Estimation, Project Tracking and Reporting.AchievementsA 100% timely resolution to all technical challenges and problems faced during execution of Software Engineering projects that I was involved with or consulted on, by providing economically and technically feasible solutions.
