The Brand carries clothing and accessories for the kids in the age range of 2 years to 14 years. With a unique design sensibility and a design process which creates a perfect fusion of International Trends and Indian preferences, Bells and Whistles offers Trendy garments that are classy yet colorful.As the founder-CEO of the company, I set up the team and created the brand from scratch. The brand achieved 2 Crs of turnover in its first operational year which rose to Rs 5 Crs in its second year. The brand is well-known in Delhi region and e-commerce portals. Sold the company to a leading apparel buying house in India in April 2016

"W" is a leading women-wear apparel brand in India with over 200 retail stores and presence across other channels. The company - TCNS Clothing Co Pvt Ltd. owns another brand “Aurelia” catering to the mass market. Team Size – Finance (16), IT (2) Key Responsibilities included:Managing the Finance, Accounts and IT departments of the CompanyProvide strategic inputs to the Board and the CEO for long-term and short-term decision making. Manage Fund Flows of the company and liaison with the banksManage the Accounts team and ensure timely preparation of financial resultsStatutory Compliances and Secretarial work.Devise the IT Strategy of the company and continuously enable the company with relevant IT solutions. Strengthening the back-end of the company in terms of controls and processesManage relationship with the Private Equity investors. Key Achievements:Got Private Equity investment in the company from M/s Matrix Partners in Oct’ 2011 working closely with the investors and the legal counsel of the company. The investment was made in a short time of 3 months from first discussions and the same was achieved without involvement of any Investment Banker. Implemented strong accounting systems and MIS to ensure preparation of monthly financial reports, providing timely and detailed view of the performance of different departments and business segments. Managed the cross-department initiative to shorten the product development process and design a more efficient planning and allocation process.Managed other functions like warehousing, marketing, sales to large format retailers for short stints.
