In this role, I crafted a winning go-to-market strategy across key US markets for Stem's integrated energy storage solutions which included hardware sales, Stem EMS, revenue optimization & performance management SaaS and related managed services. I work extensively with our customers including developers, independent power producers (IPPs), infrastructure funds, utilities, and enterprise customers. I enabled Sales in all stages of the customer acquisition process including identifying key market segments, maintaining competitive intelligence, monitoring RFPs, developing proposals, pricing deals, and delivering pitches

I directed the portfolio optimization and risk management practice within Siemens’ Energy Business Advisory segment. I advised utilities, community choice aggregators (CCAs) and energy companies optimize their supply portfolios and with integrated generation, transmission, and distribution planning. I designed, developed, and executed hedging programs to manage risk exposures to energy markets. and oversaw pricing, and procurement of energy supply in all major ISO/RTO markets.

I leveraged my expertise in risk management and internal controls to ensure financial integrity of companies with exposure to commodity markets. I led internal audits across energy trading firms, Retail Energy Providers (REPs), and investment banks, and provided assurance on complex financial transactions. My leadership also helped a large REP identify and address critical issues in margin forecasting and trading processes.

I bridged the gap between risk and data and leveraged my risk management expertise to tackle complex challenges in the energy and financial sectors. I implemented energy trading and risk management (ETRM) systems for oil majors, designed risk reports for CROs, helped investment banks achieve regulatory compliance, and facilitated smooth workforce transitions in financial institutions.

I empowered IPPs and utilities to optimize their portfolios and manage risk. I was involved in the development of PRYM, a software system to manage generation portfolios of physical generators and financial hedges. I also worked in the design and development of Demand Side Management (DSM) program tracking system to maximize customer value.

I implemented a real asset valuation model and enhanced its marketability by adding modules to value wholesale structured (power, gas, full-requirement load) contracts, and conduct stress testing and sensitivity analysis.
