Financial Control and Reporting:Responsible for book closure of 10 legal entity which includes preparation of annual statutory accounts, consolidation Process , flash reporting and trend analysis of Profit and Loss & Balance, sheet, coordinating with statutory auditors & tax auditors for audit clearance.Finance Risk & ControlBeing a part of Global Finance risk Control Team and responsible for managing risk and control framework across the globe. Successful onsite transition of 2 months from Accenture, ensuring seamless completion of statutory yearly filings of Financial Statements of all the regulated Subsidiaries of BT across globe. Statutory filings of the Statutory Accounts of 70 UK legal entities (subsidiaries of BT Group Plc) to the company secretariat in UK meeting all strict deadlines, ensuring Compliance to applicable IFRS/UK GAAP. Liaison with PWC (Stat Auditors) & Deloitte (Tax Auditors) for query resolution through follow-ups, emails, conference calls. Performing Impairment Testing& Intercompany Dividend distribution working ensuring correct financials. Preparing Bank reconciliation of various subsidiaries of BT Group Plc  Taking initiatives to guide Auditors if necessary changes are required in the Tax Computations (Deloitte) and in financials (PWC). Preparing and posting of Month End Journals for Long/Short Term Loans/Borrowing from Parent Co. and Interest Accruals. Analysis & Investigation of General Ledger /Books of Accounts at each closing cycle, preparing and suggesting business any adjustments if required.

Successful onsite transition of 2 months of Group consolidation (Accounting & Reporting) from HSBC UK & ensured smooth year end close post transition. This was most critical to ensure accurate & timely HSBC reporting to SEC & various stakeholders.  Assisting business in the closure of their Monthly, Quarterly and Annual financial statements. This includes analyzing books of accounts at each closing cycle, preparing and suggesting business any group level adjustment ensuring Compliance to applicable IFRS. Consolidation of Financial Statements of various legal entities of HSBC operating across the Globe, by posting adjustment entries at Group level in the nature of Intercompany Eliminations, Restatement of associate’s/joint venture’s income through Equity Accounting, Non-Controlling Interest (Minority interest), Goodwill etc.

 Preparation & Consolidation of Monthly Financial Statement as Per Schedule VI with complete details for 4 of Reliance Retail Group Companies. Ensure all Accruals/Provisions are made in SAP on monthly basis. Handling Statutory/Internal and Management Audit for group companies. Reporting to Commercial Head weekly status of Sales and Collection. Weekly Sales margin & usage variance report to Head of Department Monthly Material Reconciliation Report for PCS/Warehouse locations.
