Working within the challenging Sodexo Justice Services where we look after vulnerable people in the society by rehabilitation and training in a methodical manner. This incorporates diverse background and versatile ways with an aim to transform and add value to the people under our care and in turn adding value to the society by making it a safe place.

I work as a Communication and Information specialist engineer responsible for establishing effective communications between troops on the ground and the Headquarters. I was deployed to Jordan and also within the UK to carry out such tasks.I am responsible for the following duties and tasks:1. Assist senior management on all aspects of use and deployment of military communicationsequipment like VHF/HF/UHF voice, ancillaries and data systems.2.Carry out risk assessment, fault diagnosis and remedy for given task.3.Set up, operate and maintain communications.As part of my role as a Communication and Information specialist engineer I have gained many qualifications which include ECDL Level 1, Apprenticeship in IT software Web & Telecoms Professional at intermediate level and Edexcel BTEC Level 2 Certificate in ICT Systems and Principles. In addition to above, I was also deployed to Cyprus as part of the UN Peace-keeping force and was appointed as a signaller within the Sector 2 area of operation.

1. Working as part of a team within the frozen sector of the Specimen Processing.2. First point of contact for all the samples received and therefore in charge of loading the samples on the system. 3, Meeting the targets for the day/month was critical to keep the samples viable as they were in a holding facility until processed. 4. Identification and resolving issues was paramount as the clients trusted our processing team to delivery the best possible services. 5. Handling telephone/electronic queries from the clients and where appropriate escalation to management and other departments within the laboratory. 6. Volunteered to work in the microbiology department on weekends to gain laboratory experience in a specific area of the organisation and also to add value to my role as a specimen processor.
