Experienced plant ecophysiologist with 4.5+ years of postdoctoral experience. As a postdoctoral research scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), I apply my experience to explore how plants cope with abiotic and biotic stress factors in different environments. My mission is to advance the understanding of plant signaling events and stress tolerance mechanisms both above and below ground, and to contribute to the development of more resilient and productive crops.Collaborated and led various plant-based projects at ORNL, using controlled environments and field settings to design and execute time-course experiments involving single or multiple stress combinations. Demonstrated leadership and management skills by overseeing diverse teams and coordinating research activities and resources. My research outcomes have been published in 21 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals, and I have been recognized as a highly cited author for my impactful contributions to the field of plant stress physiology. Additionally, I have served as an ambassador for the American Society of Plant Biologists, promoting the exchange of ideas and opportunities among plant scientists.
