As the Founder, I have developed this NGO from concept to execution and launch.- Developed the model, pitched to and brought on board relevant partner NGOs in the areas of child welfare, differently-abled and rural development.- Designed and executed the web presence (platform site and backend) for www.onegoodstep.org- Structured social projects and crowd-sourced skills and funds to execute them. Some of our projects include 1. Through the latest “Nanna Kannu” program we are screening 10000 rural students for eye issues and providing free treatment for the same. 2. Through the “Streets to Schools” project we have brought 100+ children into the fold of mainstream education and will bring more children in March 20173. Through the “Smart Cookie” project we have imparted baking skills as a life skill to special adults and created avenues to market these products for their income. 4. Through the “Light for Education” project we have provided basic solar reading facility for 1232 Std X students in power-starved rural Chikkaballapura , thus promoting education and utilization of renewable energy.5. Through the “Library project”, channeled about 20 volunteers and converted multiple text-books, question papers and preparation guides into audio for visually impaired children.
