Before launching Roadz, Amit successfully exited another startup called Becansoft where he developed a car-sharing app targeting the mobility needs of kids, elderly and the disabled. For seven years prior to Becansoft, Amit spearheaded the development of Verizon's IoT verticals' strategy including telematics, rail, and smart cities. In that capacity, he directed the strategy, due diligence and integration plan for >$3B in acquisitions. As the chief architect of the strategy, Amit helped create a $1B business unit, now called Verizon Connect. He was asked to join the executive leadership team at Verizon Connect to help accelerate the global growth as the head of strategy, business development and product innovation.
