Responsible for all HW (Board and FPGA) activities in the Multi-Service dept.• Developing project plans for Board and FPGA design• Extensive cross-team and cross-dept. interaction (SW teams, other HW teams in different dept., System Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Techincal Support, etc...)• Manage 10 engineers remotely located in offshore development Center (for a specific project)• Manage 8 engineers to support complete product line as well as develop the company's next generation multi-service gateway• Act as Technical Expert in the Multi-Service dept., supporting all new developments and legacy products/features• Extensive interaction and support for offshore test labs: co-developing and supervising End-2-End testbeds as well as acting Techincal Focal Point for all offshore R&D and testing activities (Germany, China, Portugal)• Extensive customer interaction and site visits for trials, technical presentations

Involved in numerous projects as both Board Design and FPGA Engineer.• Integral part of a complete Board-Design process in many projects: Analysis and architecture, Defining board and architecture capabilities, HW Specification writing, Schematic design, Layout, Developing HW test plan, Lab verification tests, Compliance tests• Integral part of complete FPGA-Design process in several projects: Feature analysis, Functional specification writing, Block Design, Single Block and Complete Design Simulation, Synthesis and Compilation using all major tools & vendors (Xilinx, Altera, Precision, Synplicity, Modelsim), Lab tests• Extensive knowledge and experience in high-speed board technologies• Extensive knowledge and experience in various FPGAs (Virtex4, Spartan-3E, Stratix-2)
