About Amit Ray

At CrazyTok we help businesses and busy professionals/ solopreneurs launch, produce and grow your own branded audio or video podcast. We offer a comprehensive, reliable and affordable service that fits pretty much every budget and is optimised to deliver agency-level output at near-freelancer level prices. We are able to do this because because of the unique combination of operations, technology and content creation capability I've built over 15 years.Operations and Tech:I was part of the GrabFood founding team, supporting three years of hyper-growth by shaping Merchant Operations into an ultra-efficient machine. We reduced merchant onboarding SLA from several weeks to just 1 day, increased workforce productivity 50%, improved onboarding conversion rates 3x, tripled our merchant base in months, established a scaled merchant engagement program, improved our collections rate and managed a Covid-era WFH transition for 500+ operations agents with no drop in productivity. I also worked to make GrabKitchens a source of sustainable advantage in Indonesia, one of our most heavily-competed markets, and transitioned our B2B Supplies business from a heavily loss-making, high-touch model towards a more profitable remote engagement model supporting XX thousand merchants. At Uber, I grew support operations 100x over three years, building a support powerhouse with thousands of front-line agents and 16 support centers covering 12 countries in SE and N Asia (SENA). We then aggressively drove down contact rate by 70% from peak, generating $x0 millions in annual savings, improving the Uber experience through actionable insights and making Customer Experience a competitive edge. Content Creation: Previously I was co-founder of Go!Places, making travel content for historical sites. We were two-time winners of Singapore's prestigious SiTF awards, industry challenge winner of the inaugural Singapore Travel & Tourism industry Hackathon and a recipient of Singapore government grant funding. I was also founder at Helium Communications, an social media firm that helped Singapore-based SMEs get more per marketing dollar.I am also an author, podcaster and musician.

90% of new podcasts wither and die before they even reach double-digit episodes. This is largely because most podcasters start their shows part time and are simply unable to keep up with the 8-10 hours of work needed every week to keep new episodes coming. This is unfortunate, because a lot of good stories and intriguing insights are lost this way - just for the lack of time.CrazyTok was born out of my experience hosting and optimising multiple shows on personal finance, career growth and entrepreneurship. We are an all-in-one podcasting service that enables businesses and busy professionals launch, run and grow into a top-ranked podcast on as little as 2 hours a month.Wanna learn more about podcasting?
