I founded COdesign with a simple dream to solve problems faced at large by brands and consumers through human-centered design. I lead a team of designers, technologists, strategists and creative professionals who work with a diverse portfolio of local and international brands to bring meaningful experiences. There's a certain need in this world, now more than ever, to humanize brands and connect to customers and my role in COdesign aims to deliver that promise with effective results, sound strategy and execution.My diverse experience in design, marketing and business has allowed me to build a company offering more than services and innovative solutions. As a Managing Partner of WebAble Digital, one of Bangladesh's earliest digital marketing startups, I introduced and enabled design to become an integral component of the company's culture and practices. What change did I bring to the table and the team? WebAble had a visionary tech team and strong business strategy operations in play where I was able to implement my design thinking and execution skills to complete the internal digital ecosystem we promised our clients.Fresh but fearless, my initial journey into Bangladesh's digital marketing scene saw a strong merge of savvy technology and strong business strategy paired with meaningful design.

After working for over 4 years as a designer in different companies, I made a decision to explore into a new expedition as a freelancer under the identity of Richard Designs. From my previous job experiences I realized the potential of the global market and a need for design professionals, and hence I began my quest to build a versatile portfolio that would not only showcase challenging case studies, but also become a source of deeper learning and inspiration. As Richard Designs, I primarily offered identity design and print design services. I soon realized from client interactions that web and digital had become a core front for brands, so I trained myself to start designing user interfaces as well.During this interim, not only was I able to recognize the perks and pitfalls of freelancing, but also had the freedom to nurture my skills and talents along the way. I was intrigued to learn how most of my clients wanted products and services tailored to their requirements, even though costs were higher. As I began to secure bigger projects (both in terms of value and complexity), I began collaborating with third party partners and had built a great network of professionals along the way. Eventually, I had become an active voice locally not only in design execution but also in design thinking.

Brazil Churrasco, a Brazilian steakhouse franchise, enlisted me to take on the role of Director of Marketing & Branding. As a passionate food lover, this was an exciting opportunity to work with an international franchise that was the first brand in the country to introduce a menu based on fine meat cuts and authentic Brazilian cuisine.During my short tenure I was able to refine their brand presence in the country through specifically defined communication tools & effective brand strategy. I utilized a full fledged marketing program for Brazil Churrasco which included 360 degree management beginning with ensuring policy and planning execution, campaign execution, brand consistency and visibility across print, electronic and digital media. Furthermore, I maintained and sustained advertising opportunities across multiple media and extended marketing opportunities through PR. During the absence of the Marketing Director, I managed the business operations of the restaurant to increase customer engagement, footfall & retention, drive profit, maintain consistent service and maximize brand presence.

bGlobal Interactive is an LA based company which offered superior and tailor fit back office interactive and programming services that uses the latest in web and open source technologies.I was recruited as a web and graphic designer where I designed user interface and user experiences for almost all web projects contracted to bGlobal. During my tenure with the company, which had a impressive portfolio of global brand names, I had the opportunity to work on many big website projects some of which includes NBC Universal's Biggest Loser, Konami's Metal Gear Solid, Disney Cruise Line, Zaeem Jamal and Tech Data Corporation's event portal.Along the way, I was also able to lend my skills to create various e-newsletters, banners and other design components for brands such as CISCO, Blackberry and HP. I supported the entire team with design issues, being responsible for developing concepts to assist junior designers and the department head and at times actively involved in conducting visual research projects.bGlobal Interactive exposed me to worldwide demands for web and graphic design for which I was able to bring my adaptable and comprehensive design abilities to cater to the needs of their clients.
