Nokia Networks is the world’s specialist in mobile broadband. From the first ever call on GSM, to the first call on LTE, it operates at the forefront of each generation of mobile technology. Nokia Networks is amongst the world leaders in the LTE market space. In this role I was heading the TRS software development and delivery, in the LTE eNB for the world market solution of Nokia Networks.The role covered planning and delivery of program content across multiple releases. Including at a high level:- Content planning with the business line and product management.- Resource pipeline alignment, hardware and budget planning.- Achieving release roadmap and milestones.- Backlog management, delivery tracking, risk management.- Outsourcing management - Setup E2E teams from scratch in Wipro and Aricent.

Leading the IP team for transport module in NSN. Roles:- Line management of 20+ size team.- Grown the team from 6 members to 23 members currently.- Recruitment, retention and competency development in the team.- Project management for end to end delivery across the R&D releases.

Technical member of ISOS team. The ISOS team works for the Broadband Access Business unit of Conexant and takes care of the software implementation in the broadband access devices. I handled the Layer 2, Layer 3 (IPv4/ IPv6), QoS and Security module for ISOS team with a team size of 4 members.

Technical member of FSAT-II team. I worked on the Turbo Page Client which is an HSS/HNS proprietary software system providing accelerated Internet access to users through their satellite.The major projects (in reverse chronological order) included-- SSL Bridging - Added the support of speeding up the retrieval of secure web pages also. (Team Size = 6)- Enterprise Transparency - Feature that allows TurboPage to operate transparently within an enterprise setting even when browsers are configured with complicated proxy scripts. It allows TurboPage to be dropped into any enterprise without any changes to their network configuration. (Team Size = 2)- TurboPage MR – II - Enhancement to bypass the server and connect directly to the web servers in case of TurboPage Server failure or NTLM based transactions. (Team Size = 2)

During the projects, worked on configuration of Cisco routers and switches (4000,6500,2950 series), use of Windows 2000 (Prof/ Server/ Advanced Server) as Domain Controller, DNS, DHCP, Print Server, Mail Server, Web Server, File Server, Proxy ServerThe major projects/clients included-- Networking in NTPC, Noida- The Indian Navy Project, SANCHAR- Network Management and support for TIL offices at Sikandra Road & NEPZ
