Principal Application Architect
Current❖ Provides leadership for the implementation and governance of the Reference Architecture including the Business, Application, Information, Infrastructure Technology, Service Management, and Security architecture domains❖ Plans technical support infrastructure through the creation of service level agreements; leads the transition from DDI to support to ensure that appropriate support is available to clients in a timely and efficient manner❖ Evaluates new technologies and software products to determine feasibility and desirability in support of the ERA and leads the development of policies, standards and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation and use of technology within the enterprise❖ Acts a liaison between third party vendors / partners and the company to procure, develop and/or integrate their applications into company products and to ensure that solutions are in line with the EA. Promotes shared infrastructure, enterprise data and applications to reduce costs and improve information.❖Design and implement standard Data Architecture processes to enable an efficient end-to-end ingestion, integration and consumption of data. ❖Partner with development and QA teams to communicate the business rules, data models and ensure test cases target the quality and integrity of the data model. ❖Partner with DBAs to transform logical data models into physical database designs while optimizing the performance and maintainability of the physical database❖Evaluate new trends in Data Management and make the right recommendations to the senior management.
