So, I thought of fusing my passion with my profession. I did a three-day course about how to start your own travel agency—but those three days made me realize that I did not have adequate financial and other resources to go ahead.The next was to be a coder as I had done a couple of courses in Computers and Coding. But it didn’t seem to be going as desired either.While I was still finding my way, my father retired from a non-pensionable Banking job. Post-retirement he continued offering financial services to his connections in his own ways. Growing up I had seen him working hard. So once of age, I started driving him to and fro for his visits, and invariably every time he took me along to meet his clients. Almost inadvertently I became a part of their discussions on financial matters and in no time we started receiving calls from his clients asking for my financial advice!It all started in good faith. With increasing solicitation, I felt the need to have a workplace and converted about 70 Sq Ft of our house into an office. I soon fell short on space.
