Responsible for strengthening and growing the private Healthcare advisory business within the strategy and operations practice of the firm. Key assignments included:– Led a multi-functional team to conduct a comprehensive business review of a Middle East based medical device manufacturer; developed a 2-year turnaround plan focused on reducing costs (supply chain, manufacturing planning) and growing revenues (realignment of product priorities, entering new geographies). The plan was approved by the investors board and implementation initiated. – Advised a large Indian conglomerate on select areas of their entry strategy for a foray into the Health insurance and wellness space.

Led healthcare assignments and business development in the western region; Key clients included a global Financing organization and a mid-sized multi-specialty hospital in Mumbai. – Co-led a pan-India assignment focused on operational assessment of major hospitals (across more than 100 tier II / III locations) to identify (25+) potential opportunities for investment. – Conducted a deep dive diagnostic study of a multi-specialty hospital in Mumbai and developed a comprehensive performance improvement roadmap. Led the first phase of the project aimed at improving operating processes (to reduce discharge time) and initiated changes in service line focus. – Developed a comprehensive business plan for a 400+ beds tertiary care hospital in Mumbai.
