Electrical Maintenance at Kerendari Coal Mining Project

As a Shift In-charge of Gas power plant -1. Have generated 2200 Million Units in previous financial year with financial gain of around Rs 200 Million.2. Involved in the overhauling of Gas turbines & timely availability of Machines resulted in net gain of Rs 50 Million.3. As Energy Auditor of the plant, analysed the Auxiliary power consumption pattern of the plant & recommendations has reduced the power consumption by 0.5 % of the plant capacity resulting in power gain of 30 K Units per day.4. Optimized the storage of Back-up fuel as a Safety challenge. This resulted in the less hazardous condition of the plant & coasting down the investment on manpower & material by Rs. 50 Million. 5. As an operation Engineer, always try to optimized the utilization of base fuel (Gas). Over the last financial year not only saved national resources but also benefited company with monetary profits based on Gas consumption & UI charges.

As Project Manager , I was overlooking following functions -1. 130 KM 132Kv twin line project work for 660 MW power project in Solapur Maharashtra. In the project my roles was - * to coordinate with the agency & give them the work front as & when available to reduce any conflict with local personnel. * Coordinate with local farmers / personnel to clear the Right of Way for the T/L work. * look after the quality of the work with timely completion of the work to reduce any delay. * Coordination with State / Central Authority seeking help for completion of the work. * Processing timely payment of crop/land compensation for local farmers / personnel to avoid any conflict. During Above work - - WE were able to complete the 50 Km of Non-stop Line stretch before time - With quick resolution of the issue during the work we have reduce Idle time of approx 2 days for 50 locations.- timely payment processing assure us faith of the local farmers & this led to minimum hindrance during the execution of the project.

As a Project Manager, My task was -1. To Oversee the Switch-yard package of the Plant, which includes - * To check all the approved drawing * Handover the site to the agency for start of the work * ensuring regular PEP talks to all the work force incl. Supervisors , Labours & site Engineers * Receiving all the material in proper condition & storage for the same to be maintained. * Supervising all the Civil work related to the work incl. material availability i.e cement , steel etc & quality assurance. *

During initial stage of project activity, As a Electrical Engineer :- Helped R&R team in land Acquisition & land marking for the Power Plant- Coordinated with State SEB i.e MSEB for various power requirement like power for city office , site office , stores etc- coordinated / supervised all activities of the site awarded construction power package which includes : * Approval of all drawing as per technical specs. & site layout * Receiving the material & proper storage of the same * Coordinating all Erection activities incl. Civil works with proper safety conditions. * Coordination with MSEB for power connection @ 33kV incoming level during commissioning activities. * Coordinated with WRPC, Mumbai for approval to charge the Sub-Station * Timely payment of all the bills for proper CAPEX utilization of the plant * Contract closing within approved time frame after charging of the substation & subsequent lines. * Power Availability to all parts of the plant with closed grid line layout * Reduction of monthly power bill by Approx. 10 Lacs with #1) Installation of capacitor Banks of proper capacity at convenient location & #2) timely payment of monthly bills.
