Bab Integrated Facilities Project

 Managed a number of sites simultaneously, handling internal prioritization of resources and in coordination with client need and phase completion of Oil in. Assists / prepares the Project Execution Plan (PEP) in collaboration with the Site Manager.  Prepare MS for construction activities and Execution Methodologies for Tie-In and critical activities.  Overview and control of the Contractor’s issued PTW’s review and approve their Construction Work Packs and Execution Plans. Verification and endorsement of Contractor’s claimed progress and coordinate with operations for permits, tie‐in schedule, pre‐commissioning and commissioning activities. Micro managed material receiving, material preservation, material storage, flange connection, valve installation, torqueing and tensioning of flanges and pipe fit-up inspections.  Liaise with vendor for Specialty items like SDV’s, HIPPS Station and its instruments for their on time delivery at site and safe rigging.  Erection and installation of package Equipment’s i-e Chemical Injection, Compressor etc. and their tie-in.  Executed and planned for fabrication & Erection of Down/Upstream High (Green /Brown Field) pressure piping worth 200,000 in-dia Package wise as per ASME 31.3. Marking of Process and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) for Hydro test, Isolation for Tie-in etc.  Providing operation support for the isolation and commissioning of the plant after the tie-in.  Supervised the Erection and installation of HP Flare Tanks, KO drums & Fin Fan Cooler. Managed timely Erection and fabrication of skimming & water disposal and fresh water tanks as per API-650.  Made walk down with QC team for inspection and testing of equipment and Piping line Checker in accordance with the MS, ITP, QCP, Procedures, Specifications, Codes, Standards and drawings. Conducted MC/RFC walk down with Client and Operation and punch closing to deliver safe plant operation.

Alba, Bahrain

Working as SITE ENGINEER at ALBA POTLINE 6 Project, my duties and responsibilities are as follow: Planned & executed erection & fabrication of pipeline to meet the construction Schedule.  Liaise with Interface manager, Inspection Engineer, Engineering Manager , Project Engineer and Planning Team Leader to plan and schedule improvements, repairs or replacements of piping and valve infrastructure. Assisted and solved the field trouble shooting of pipeline fabrication, change in routing & modification & consulting design team for assistance and review.  Re-routed fire water pipeline channel and allocation of hose reel box at different elevations.  Monitored hydro testing for dry fire water system and Pneumatic test for all other system and cleared the punches and leakages.  Supervised erection and Installation of steel structure for 1.4 km Assembly line having pedestrian bridges and pipe rack.  Assist in making of test pack and supporting team for successful execution of pressure testing. Preparation of as-built drawings based on sketches, notes, tabulated data or verbal instructions during site visit and measurements for the generation of BOM. Made liaison with the lay-down and material controller for on time delivery of required spools and fitting on site.  Meeting with clients/Sub-Cons to streamline all activities as per the schedule.  Mentored and advised teams regarding manpower, equipment mobilization, and overall construction sequence.

Central Gas Project-Iii, Bahrain

Working at Central Gas Plant-III project for Banagas in Bahrain as a piping supervisor and my duties are as follow.  Supervising Tie-in job of Naptha and propane from existing train.  Overseeing Fabrication of process, Fire Water And Flare piping of various materials such as CS, SS, and LTCS etc.  Working for Erection and installation Derrick Type Flare Structure and Flare Riser (John Zink) upto 70 m height.  Also holds charge for Erection and fabrication of Flare Pipeline.  Executed Hot Bolting prior to Cold tie-ins with Spherical tanks in mean time. Planned man-hours & resources and executed tie-in for butane line and Utility services.  Managed the fabrication and erection of Fin Fan Header and connecting piping.  Dealt Fabrication and erection in H2S rich area and well aware of Control measure.  Well aware with the risk/hazards present in Gas plant and their control measures Hands on experience in Spools numbering, Hydro test Pack preparation, documentation for Hydro test waiver and all documentation to achieve Mechanical completion certificate from Client. Coordinate with the rigging foremen for rigging activities and had a good knowledge of all kind of cranes, equipment, etc. Complete site modifications to engineered design in line with BP brownfield specifications. Produce site piping support to construction contractors Preparation of construction and progress catch up schedules and managing project progress database and updates. Developed a working environment with crew members in order to maintain Incident and Injury Free Environment without LTI.
