As a senior data modeler at Orange Egypt, I am part of the transformation department's big data and data science team, responsible for revamping the legacy on-premises data warehouse into a new big data environment. I use ClickHouse to rebuild the model on top of Hadoop Distributed Files (HDFS), and reproduce the existing SAP BO reports. I also track and redevelop the migration process according to business requirements, resources, and timeline.Before joining Orange Egypt, I worked as a business intelligence and ETL consultant at Teradata, where I was assigned to the national data warehousing project, the backbone of the digital transformation project in Egypt (Digital Egypt). I dealt with various and enormous data sources from more than 50 governmental or private entities, and advised the customer about the best practices and solutions to manage, analyze, and present the data. I handled ad-hoc requests from customers using SQL, Excel, and Power BI, and represented the data from different DWH layers. I also carried out intensive studies related to fraud and revenue assurance.I have a diploma in business intelligence from the Information Technology Institute (ITI), and a bachelor's degree in petroleum geophysics from Ain Shams University. I have developed core competencies in data pipelines, databases, and datasets, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. I am passionate about data and its potential to drive innovation and transformation.
