An IT leader with extensive experience in the IT field in the Chemical and Food manufacturing industries for the last 20 years.My goal as IT Leader is to help the Senior management of the company to achieve and exceed their strategic goals and objectives helping them by providing suitable technology solutions and tools that satisfy the industry regulations as well as helping them achieve strategic goals and make their vision a reality.My responsibilities as IT & ERP manager are:*Managing the deployments, development, enhancement, and upgrades of the organizational IT systems and infrastructure.*Managing SAP ERP upgrades, enhancement, and development efforts to improve ERP utilization. We have achieved an increase in SAP utilization rate from 40% to more than 85%.* IT team management, by working closely with the team and motivating them, coaching and mentoring, and performing performance reviews regularly. I take advantage of my interpersonal skills as well as my emotional intelligence skills to achieve this goal and unlock the individual's true potential.*Vendor management, as I apply negotiation skills to get the best prices, and better payment terms which is good for maintaining the company cash flow and finally getting better specifications that fulfill our technical requirements.* Asset management: Managing IT assets by preparing, maintaining, and enforcing the controls over the IT asset life cycle.*IT policies and procedures: Preparing and maintaining the IT policy and procedures to outline all policies and procedures that control all IT aspects.*Preparing the IT budget and monitoring it during the fiscal year. One of the major considerations when planning the IT budget is to align the budget with the organization’s short, Medium, and long-term goals.*Project Management: I have an excellent success rate with IT project management as I have delivered a large number of successful projects and helped other organizations to recover a failed project and lead it to success.I define myself as a confident decision maker and problem solver, who takes the lead in difficult situations and provides solutions that assist in overcoming the issues. I use various leadership types to manage the IT department and the team and I believe in leading by example.I embrace the change, take it with a positive mindset, and encourage my team to do the same. I believe accepting change is the way for any organization to grow.
