• Manage the standard design library and R&D for both closed-type and open-type gensets.• Supervise junior engineers, assign tasks, and provide training and follow-up, to enhance their work efficiency.• Perform mechanical calculations to optimize genset performance and ensure compliance with standards.• Develop prototypes for new designs to validate concepts and improve functionality before final production.• Manage designs to meet customer inquiries, ensuring compliance with international standards (ISO & ASME) and verifying GA drawings before submission.• Plan and schedule project tasks, monitor progress, and coordinate with design and production teams.• Collaborate with production and purchase teams to improve manufacturing methods.• Generate BOM lists connected to the ERP system and order necessary accessories and ready-made items according to design requirements.• Design Optimization and Modularity to reduce production lead times and enhance manufacturing efficiency.• Design for manufacturing; Improve the Sheet Metal process and assembly of genset enclosures.• Prepare all necessary technical documentation and reports.

• Use 3D/2D CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) for design, simulation, and analysis.• Design and route muffler Piping Systems for closed-type gensets and site exhaust piping systems for opened-type gensets.• Design and customize electrical components such as Control Panels, Breaker Panels, and ATS Panels.• Design and conduct necessary calculations for bulk fuel tanks, including both single-wall and double-wall configurations.• Develop engine, alternator support, and base frame designs to increase rigidity and achieve optimal vibration results in compliance with ISO standards (ISO 8528-9).• Ensure function validation, accuracy, and accessibility for fabrication and assembly.
