My career goals are to work with teachers and students of the EFL/ESL community to expand and strenghten their skills and to work in the tourism and hospitality industry, helping guests to have the best experience in their travels as possible. I am currently living abroad, as a TEFL Observer, ESL Teacher (English as a Second Language), Senior Teacher (manager) and Community Coordinator in Prague, Czech Republic. As a Senior Teacher, I manage a team of 20 teachers, guiding them and assisting in their skill development. As the Community Coordinator, I work with incoming teachers to handle any non-HR related questions/concerns. For the current teachers, I build community through the coordination and execution of monthly events, both on and off-line. Aside from my work in Prague, I have also taught at 2 different schools in Thailand, 2 different locations at an International School in Myanmar, and 4 schools in South Korea. I have also taught at a specialized English school in Hanoi, Vietnam as well as being the Special Events Coordinator for the 2 campuses. I used my teaching experience to practice my planning and organization skills by designing and implementing lessons for 18 classes a week, each class being a different level. While at Robert W. Baird, I was able to build upon my basic administrative business skills. I was also able to develop my planning skills on a more corporate level, constantly planning events for my clients in the executive branch of various companies. While at Charm City I networked my skills to various contacts, constantly made new or improved current vendor and client relationships. I also worked on my marketing skills, having been placed on the marketing team for the company.
Listed skills include Event Planning, Customer Service, Marketing, Crm, and 13 others.
