Reintroduced the locally extinct toutouwai to the city's forests. Developed a 'sub-national emissions scenario forecasting model', made freely available to dozens of public organisations across the country.

Environmental Strategy and Policy lead for PNCC. Set up and coordinated various community biodiversity efforts. Delivered some of New Zealand's first public sector organisational and regional carbon emission inventories. Community funding board member.
Invited to participate in an experimental risk forecasting 'tournament' sponsored by OpenPhilanthropy.org and run by Prof. Phil Tetlock (of 'superforecasting' fame). Developed (and defended against other global experts) ~70 risk assessments across a range of existential risk categories including: AI, nuclear weapons, climate change, and bioweapons. Recipient of several prizes acknowledging the quality of my work.

Worked with local NGO developing a programme of work to rehabilitate Kathmandu's stormwater management system, which had been allowed to atrophy and was coming under increasing pressure due to climate change and an ever-increasing coverage of impervious surfaces due to urbanisation.
