As a quantitative analyst at Union Capital Partners, I apply machine learning techniques to analyze financial data and optimize investment strategies. I have been working in this role for four months, after completing a six month data science internship at Zions Bancorporation, where I used natural language processing techniques and Large Language Models to help build a classifier for their transaction data. I am enrolled in the Computer Science Master’s program at Brigham Young University and seek to contribute in a meaningful way to the exciting field of machine learning.
