Developed and implemented San Francisco’s Building Sector Energy Strategy. The intent of this Strategy is to enable the City to realize its climate action goals for both the residential and commercial sectors, including meeting the functional needs of the built environment with 100% renewable electricity by 2030. Created San Francisco’s first web based performance report for the Existing Commercial Buildings Ordinance that pulls city and sector level metrics on a real time basis. Developed San Francisco’s first building scorecard, providing building owners feedback from their energy benchmarks. Managed multiple US Department of Energy projects as a partner city including the implementation of the unique building identifier.

Implemented San Francisco’s energy benchmarking ordinance (Existing Commercial Buildings Ordinance) which encompasses 1,600+ private sector commercial buildings. Prepared and sent ECB compliance letter campaigns. Responded to ECB help desk emails and calls. Assisted building owners in creating ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager building portfolios. Developed San Francisco’s first building scorecard, providing building owners feedback from their energy benchmarks. Established three new data systems (SEED, Asset Score, and Salesforce) to manage ECBO benchmark and audit compliance information and data. Assisted San Francisco Energy Watch on energy efficiency audits in commercial spaces. Regularly performed analysis on citywide benchmarking and audit data to identify energy saving opportunities as well as identify energy trends for LEED certified buildings.

Created documentation for ECB help desk work flow and training materials. Drafted annual progress report for SF 2030 District. Created GIS maps and graphs to display San Francisco’s water and energy reduction for the 2030 District. Routinely used advanced Excel functions to generate spreadsheets and pivot tables. Organized and cleaned data sheets containing large quantities of data. Categorized and sub-categorized 10,000+ building permits for environmental energy comparisons. Generated reports based on shared building data and uploaded to San Francisco’s open data portal.

Uc Berkeley

Work directly with professors and staff to troubleshoot Audio/Visual technology in high-stress situations. Develop student positions in Classroom Technology Support. Manage student workforce of 70+ employees. Provide A/V technical support in 230+ classrooms on campus. Analyze metrics for on-campus support.
