She also holds a CIMA diploma in Islamic Finance, merging fintech expertise with Islamic financial principles. Amna's commitment to staying at the forefront of technology is evidenced by certifications in AI,DeFi, ReFi, NFTs and Google Cloud, showcasing her proficiency in digital transformation.Amna is an entrepreneur and social impact innovator with expertise in leveraging tech for good. She was a co-founder of an initiative that aimed to reduce plastic pollution via tokenization on blockchain back in 2018 and has also worked with DAOs (decentralized autonomous organizations). With global organizations, an example is her work at UNICEF where she worked on a project which aims to be the largest, opensource, decentralized database of every school globally, with innovative financing mechanisms and NFTs.As an international keynote speaker, she has captivated audiences at prestigious forums, including events hosted by The Economist and the Dubai government. She is a graduate level lecturer with teaching experience in London, Dubai and also guest-lectured at NYU. She is often a judge at international competitions and hackathons such as the Hack for Earth COP28 hackathon supported by Ericsson and UNICEF.Amna is motivated to improve DEI and sustainability in tech. She is a Board Member of the Metaverse Education Council and member of the World Metaverse Council.
