As an Ad Operations manager, I guided my nationwide team of Specialists through the AOL/Yahoo merger under the new company, Oath. Supporting the Autos and Entertainment verticals, it was essential that revenue was protected before, during and after the merger. That was achieved through compassionate and engaging leadership. I was responsible for hiring and employee retention for the U.S. AdOps org, working closely with recruiting and HR to bring in the best talent and keep them engaged and successful.

This time with a senior in front of my title (!), I coach my team to success in the ever-changing and exciting world of digital ad operations. I have managed between 5 and 15 direct reports and had excellent performance scores both from my team and senior leadership.

Help my team navigate its way through the tumultuous waters of Ad Operations with efficiency, accuracy and aplomb. That's the hope anyway. I have 8 direct (and fantastic) reports. That's one half. The other half of my job is to push for efficiency gains in products and processes that benefit the team and the org.

I provide end to end support on these accounts from RFPs through post-campaign analysis. In between there are ads to be scheduled, reallocations and optimizations to be made, upsells (hopefully) to be processed and credits (hopefully not) to be issued. I also head the Apt SME program and move Apt enhancements and fixes from the users (us) to the fixers (the engineers).
