My career progressed rapidly due to my attention to detail, leadership abilities, and effective management of projects and shutdowns. By 2007, I had earned a Master’s degree in Maintenance and Reliability Engineering from Monash University, completing a significant project on maintenance strategies for all rotating equipment at QNP.As Reliability Manager, my responsibilities spanned maintenance, reliability, projects, and turnarounds. I led numerous projects to enhance maintenance strategies and systems and improved process safety standards. A notable achievement was managing a project to repair the ammonia tank foundation with an innovative design after the original failed. This project, along with my paper on the repair method, was presented at the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChe) Global Safety Symposium in San Francisco. Additionally, my team received a Maintenance Excellence Award from the SIRF Roundtables for our efforts.I also led the end-to-end project for a new $12.7 million nitric acid converter and managed a $15 million major turnaround in 2011.
