I am a multi-disciplinary team collaborator who has worked collaboratively on various projects: exploring novel metabolites of gut bacteria that impact the individual health and disease status, isolating and characterizing novel bacteriophages for therapeutic purposes, as evidenced by 10 collaborations in different countries.I have documentation and reporting skills with the ability to perform high-throughput screens and high-resolution microscopy to study spore formation in bacteria and write comprehensive and detailed reports as evidenced by 15 technical documents. I also have the ability to assess process challenges with expertise in troubleshooting and optimizing protocols for work involved; live-cell fluorescence microscopy, development of genetics toolkit for intractable microbes, and devising approaches for dsRNA transcriptomics, as evidenced by 12 optimized methodologies.In addition, I have the following qualifications: Flexible and versatile researcher and experience conducting experiments to identify beneficial bacterial species that are unique to healthy individuals, as evidenced by 10 peer-reviewed publications including those in Developmental Cell, Cell and Nature Microbiology.Mentorship and training expertise gained by teaching and supervising junior researchers to devise experiments, and practice hands-on microbiological techniques and molecular biology skills as evidenced by coaching and teaching over 200 professionals.
