I combine a clinical background of 25 years in chronic pain management with evidence-based decision-making and thought leadership. My current role has taken a clinical background, merged with business, and is now used to support start-ups to bridge the gap between health innovation and the real world by providing guidance and linking ventures to capital pools. At MaRS, our team holds a dual function of communicating and collaborating with the external ecosystem to better strategically position the organization as a value-added player in life sciences, while internally, our team is responsible for translating the needs of the ecosystem into tangible products and services. Our "superpower" is the ability to always find a 'win-win' solution through communication and partnership. We're proud to have worked with ecosystem partners on many initiatives to grow the life sciences space and look forward to many more productive interactions.
