Project #1 :Linear Slides using LM guide, Ball Screw, Cross Rollers, Guide bar & bushes, Lead screw.Software - CATIA V5Roles and responsibilities: Identify and Designing of Ball Screw (accuracy), Cross Rollers (high precision work), Guide bar & bushes, lead screw with standard size. Assembling the individual parts together. Execute the part model to check if there any errors e.g. Overlapping  Prepared 2D drawing and sent it for manufacturing. After manufacturing, installation and testing of product.Project #2 : XYZ slide for microscope used in Metallurgical lab for testing. Software - CATIA V5 Roles and responsibilities: Designed/part modelling of slide for X, Y and Z axis. Assembling the individual parts together using Servo motor. Using Animation option, run the project and check if there any errors e.g. Overlapping  Prepared 2D drawing and sent it for manufacturing. After manufacturing, installation and testing of product.

 To follow daily machine shop loading/unloading plan & Ensure availability Of 3M (Man, Machine and Material). Checking daily WIP Status, Dispatch report & reporting to PPC department. Handle team of 50 operators. Provide Inserts and tooling to operator and to keep record of it Work center wise. Prepare setting data sheet for tooling details to operator. To ensure smooth flow of finish components to quality Maintain Quality control plan in machine shop (first piece inspection report, in process inspection report). To take trials of new tooling and Inserts in coordination with SANDVICK COROMENT, MITSUSEIKY, WADIA tools etc. To implement safety practices in machine shop. Training to people about QMS and 5S. To calculate machine utilization for selected work centers. Cycle time reduction and continual improvement in process. Co-ordination with maintenance dept. to reduce down time due to machine breakdown. To provide detailed information about the finished jobs in daily production meeting. Any other exigencies that may come up during the day to day functioning. Understanding ISO 9001: 2008 and maintaining documentation.
