• To coordinate the overall operation of the Design and Drafting Group and the quality and timely completion of their work within the established man-hour budgets, taking care of the technical and organization problems.• Study & Review of FEED / TENDER Documents to understand client specific requirements.• Performing pipe routing studies and getting approval from principal/ PMC before 3D modeling.• AIR COOLER and exchanger PIPING along UNIT central pipe rack and preparation and checking of structural loading and vessel piping, operation and maintenance platform design.• Tender/ work package preparation including Scope of work, SOR, HSE, Special conditions of contracts, drawing and documents and cost estimates.• To assure that the 3D/PDS/PDMS model answers to satisfactory design, practice, and participate in internal and Client model review.• Equipment unit plot plan planning and Generating Equipment G.A. • Guiding designers for piping studies and preparation and generation of Piping Layout and isometrics and to ensure adequate flow of information within the drafting team and uniformity in design and drafting activities.• To ensure proper filing of design documentation until the Job is commissioned.• Carrying out Equipment Layout feasibility study at site based on FEED documents for new facilities & Up-gradation in existing facilities with client/ owner.• MTO co-ordination from PDS, Checking completeness and correctness. Identify irregularities, discrepancies and shortfalls, take corrective action as required.• Ensure compliance with Company’s ISO Quality procedures and participating in project specific LRQA Audits.• Review & Comment's on Vendor Drawing's.

Assign work to area leads, designers and draughtsman• Coordinating activities with Materials department for PMS, VMS & thickness calculations, Material take off.• To co-ordinate with stress engineering group for activities related to stress analysis on regular basis.• To ensure quality of documents and timely completion of scheduled work within the established man-hour budgets.• Study & Review of FEED / TENDER Documents to understand client specific requirements before start of project and work allocation.• Reviewing pipe routing studies and getting approval from Owner/PMC before 3D modeling.• Piping routing study of AIR COOLER piping, Heat exchanger piping, Pipe rack piping, pump piping, vessels piping and Column Piping. • Provide inputs to civil department for structural loading and foundation loading.• To ensure that all design requirements are followed as per CLIENT DESIGN BASIS/PMC.• Tender/ work package preparation including Scope of work and supply, SOR, HSE, Special conditions of contracts, drawing and documents and cost estimates.• To assure that the 3D/PDS/PDMS model answers to satisfactory design, practice, and participate in internal and Client model review.• To ensure constructability review is done and mitigations are implemented in Equipment layout.• Unit plot plan planning and Generating Equipment G.A. • To ensure adequate flow of information within the drafting team and uniformity in design and drafting activities.• Establish regular meetings to provide information as required.

 Conceptual Routing and Developing Overall Piping Layout. Generation of Piping G.A. Drawings and Sectional views. Fixing Pumps Locations and elevations and Nozzle orientation. Checking of piping isometrics and BOM drawn and reconciliation of additional requirements. Reviewing Vendor drawings for interface checking and scope. Getting Approval of Drawings from Client/PMC. Developing P&I Diagram considering electrical and instrumentation requirements. Design of Piping Rack and Piping Supports. Carrying out field engineering activities at site. Design of Polypropylene piping system & design of storage tanks per API 650. Fixing Pumps Locations and Preparation of Raw water, Fire water, Booster Pump House and Piping G.A’s Visit to construction sites to solve site queries and support.
