• Gathering customer requirements and feed back for the projects.• Creating preliminary concept layout(either from the scratch or from platform product design concept) based upon Customer requirements• Design using AutoCAD & UG NX 7 tools and development of proto components for new product and also developing corresponding necessary tool drawings & components.• Responsible for designing, releasing and modifying prototype drawings and followed by detailed production drawings.• Responsible for detailed manufacturing process flow chart & manufacturing of proto up to trial.• Responsible for the proto type development up to trial & one batch of production. • Responsible for uploading and controlling drawings• Analyzing and solving failure modes, field warranty and validated new product samples.• Releasing Design standards for drawings based on prototype validation results.• Conducting meetings with supplier for developing tooled-up parts for production and visiting supplier ends for component audit and approval.• Benchmarking competitor products for technology and cost analysis.• Involving in initial cost estimation of the product.• Involving in selection & layout sketching of Hydraulics Pump, Cylinder, and Control Valve as per the product required.• At the time of project execution communication with Sales, Planning, Factory, Customer & suppliers for during project execution. • Giving technical Support to the marketing team at the time of order finalization.• Responsible for installation and commissioning of product.

• Handling production activities in shifts, deployment of manpower as per skills& knowledge of employee, motivating the worker, controlling the activities of workers by providing education & knowledge about the product & jobs. • Communicating between the superior authority & subordinates. Ensuring smooth flow of material, ensuring that the process is carried out as per plan. Control over rejection rework & wastage, maintaining the housekeeping on the shop floor. Looked after the production activities of machine shop having broaching, automats, milling, lathes, and drills. • Preparation of bar charts, material & manpower planning.
