Hilton is a leading hotel brand worldwide with several distinct brands and 7,000+ properties in 122 countries generating $33B in reservations annually. It is also a franchise-heavy brand that relies heavily on its ability to build trust and strong relationships with hundreds of franchisees. Initially brought in to transform the media strategy, my role quickly expanded to strategic oversight for global segmentation and digital demand gen. In this role, I took on a massively complex and longstanding problem----turning around to deliver significant impact within 2 short years. In those 2 short years, I was able to lead a transformative global segmentation strategy and a complete eCommerce engine rebuild that drive several billions of dollars in new revenue for Hilton. Key to my success in achieving this result was in my ability to facilitate crucial consensus building and trust across disparate stakeholder parties, including 17 Heads of Brand (U.S. and globally), and lead a thoughtful end-to-end change management process that supported everyone in this massive transition. As a result of this work, we were able to build a new global guest segmentation model for all 17 brands, plus Loyalty and Enterprise.During this time, I also led efforts that leveraged the new data gleaned from global segmentation strategy to identify white space in the market resulting in the development of a new hotel concept, Spark, that was launched earlier this year. -
