Managed all phases of a study, analyzed a depleted oil reservoir to evaluate ROIP, identified reservoir performance issues, and suggested economical solutions. For about three years, I achieved the following:Reservoir Planning, Forecasting & CO2 Management Balanced C)2 Switch List based on field supply and demand for CO2, managed CO2 utilization based on GOR surveillance, formulated Pattern Activation for 5-year Long Range Plan (LRP), and used proprietary KMWAG software to history-match and forecast wells.Field Experience Performed cement squeeze, including the use of cement bailer, perforation, sub pump, rain injection profile (vertical/horizontal well), surface stimulation job using coil tubing, flow master to test tubing leak, and collar strip depth logging for perforation.AFE for Development of FIRST Horizontal Injectors in Southwest Portion of SACROCResearched and assisted with writing By-passed Pay Horizontal AFE to drill a 6500 ft., multistage acid fractured horizontal injection well through a section of the low permeable, OOIP-rich information, including designing ESP and the associated VSDs for the 12 wells. Efficiently utilized Wellbore and Diagram well files, PETRA logs, well interconnectivity, and production data of wells within the patterns, determined the injectors and total of 12 producers to be included in AFE.Surveillance & Prospect Evaluation Monitored production data, CO2 injection rates, and intake pressure data to identify CO2 breakthrough on 12 patterned producers surrounding a horizontal injector, including evaluating and documenting for future development of projects. Collaborated with CO2 Managers to develop a process through a proprietary software application to perform CO2 EOR planning.Well Work Consistently increased injection support and disposal capacity on 20 stacked out water injectors, wrote procedures, and ran an economic analysis to clean them out using coil tubing, which resulted in the increase of incremental return to 30,000 BWIPD.

In my role as a Production Engineer II, I engineered production optimization, surveillance, AFE to Harvest CO2 in SACROC, reserves allocation, and CO2 pattern allocations. Also, I designed ESP equipment changes for a producing well to optimize CO2 production, including leading monthly injection and production well reviews with a team of geologists, Reservoir Engineer, Production Engineer, & Field Personnel.My duties and accomplishments include the following: Implemented peer-to-peer presentations regarding developments on ESP sizing and lessons learned to improve processes. Performed CO2 pattern allocations, forecast injection, and oil production data for reserves allocations with maximum efficiency while overseeing reservoir surveillance by analyzing pattern CO2 utilization, IWR, GOR, and WAG monthly scorecards. Wrote $10M AFE to harvest additional CO2 to increase demand in active CO2 injection projects, which included Return-to-Production of five (5) TA’ed well—the AFE required designing ESP and VSD and clean out of stacked out injectors to offset water production.
