- 22SOI Back-end-of-line (BEOL) 1X Metal levels immersion lithography development layer owner- Developing, improving and sustaining lithography processes for the metal levels- OPC cycle development and qualification along with material evaluation and selection- Identify sources of systematic and random defects and drive continuous yield improvement activities- Work closely with scanner and track tool owners, computational lithography, etch, metrology, quality and characterization teams to deliver a robust and defect-free process to Process Integration customers- Tool installation and qualification to improve fab cycle time- Transfer process to manufacturing owners for product ramp-up

- Proposed designs to overcome noise in Magnetic Tunnel Junction based sensors operating at lowfrequency.- Developed a theoretical model to determine the efficacy of the proposed designs.- Solved an optimization equation to obtain the most feasible geometric design parameters.- Analyzed the designs using finite element methods.

- Developed a theoretical framework and a computer program to accurately predict the energy bandgap as well as absorption spectra of an ensemble of Silicon Quantum Dots (QDs).- Synthesized Silicon QDs using Pulsed Laser Ablation in liquid phase and studied various parameters which affect the size and size-distribution of Silicon QDs. - Characterized the Silicon QDs using Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), High Resolution TEM and UV-Vis. Spectroscopy followed by analysis of the results.- Wrote a paper on `Light Emission and Detection using Silicon QDs' and made a presentation to a committee of five faculty members detailing the research and its results.

- Designed and demonstrated a Virtual Instrument (VI) which is now being used by the Photonics Lab at IITD for acquiring data during the experiments in real time.- Saved the laboratory more than $10,000 by implementing the VI instead of buying new equipment.

- Fabricated efficient polymer-based (P3HT and PCBM) bulk heterojunction solar cells.- Optimized the efficiency of the fabricated solar cells for the given environment.- Wrote a report to aid future fabrication efforts.

- Assisted Professor S.K. Jain in writing a book on the topic `Training Needs of an individual'.- Conducted extensive research on the subject and then extracted and consolidated the pertinent information.
