This includes products for accelerating IAAS (Cloud Steelhead), Private Cloud (Virtual Steelhead), SaaS (Steelhead Cloud Accelerator) and the core Steelhead product line. Previously directly owned the Federal vertical, Network Integration, Application acceleration and Security features on the Steelhead product line. Launched hardware, software and SaaS products.Key Contributions:• Built a strong 16 person PM team to drive network, cloud, virtualization and application acceleration features for Riverbed’s flagship Steelhead product line with over $700 million in annual revenue.• Drove the partnership - legal, engineering, marketing - with Akamai to build the Steelhead Cloud Accelerator - the industry’s first SaaS acceleration solution.• Worked with the corporate development and business development teams on build, partner or buy decisions. This included partnerships with Microsoft, VMware and IBM and the acquisition of Global Protocols.• Drove requirements for the Federal vertical - Riverbed’s largest vertical. Helped to increase product revenue by 200% in two years. Led strategic presentations to key customers (DoD and civilian agencies) to help close multi-million dollar (seven and eight figure) deals. Drove FIPS, Common Criteria, and JITC certification efforts.• Launched hardware products including the new CX xx70 series, Interceptor 9350 product (WAN optimization scaling solution), and the 10G card. • Briefed key analysts during strategy update sessions. Worked with PR to brief press for product launches. • Drove the team to build new business models - including subscription models for hardware and software products for large Service Provider and Fortune 50 customers.

Maximize functionality and revenue generation for 2 of the 3 products in the RSA Data Loss Prevention Suite – the RSA DLP Network and RSA DLP Datacenter products. Advise Product Development in designing customer-inspired product features; support marketing and sales teams as well as top executives in delivering compelling technical presentations to major clients and prospects. Identify and pursue joint development activities with partners such as Cisco. Played a key role in all aspects of this start-up including conceptualization / development of its first product, early growth, and eventual acquisition. Demoed the product prototypes to the board, potential investors, and early customers. Also provided leadership in creating the sales presentations, designing various marketing collateral, and representing Tablus at industry conferences. Briefed analysts, press, and reviewers on products and worked closely with PR team to position Tablus as a leading provider of data loss prevention solutions.Key Contributions: • Conceptualized and shaped the development of the company’s first product, the Tablus Content Alarm. Major Accomplishments from select Infrastructure Consulting Projects: Electronic Arts (1999-2002) • Recognized by CTO as “instrumental to the launch of EA.com” by providing leadership in the design and implementation of EA.com infrastructure. This included global multi-datacenter build out of thousands of servers and tens of millions of dollars of hardware and software. • As Lead Systems Architect, consulted on the performance, scalability, security, and maintainability of online infrastructure for the EA.com platform (17 million registered users, more than a million simultaneous users at peak). Advised EA’s studios (game developers) on best practices for deployment on the EA.com platform.Worldres.com (1998-1999) • Orchestrated the design and implementation of multi-site, high-availability web infrastructure design to meet reliability, scalability, and availability goals. Design included failover to a backup site in case of a disaster at the primary datacenter location.
