Started my career as Oracle DBA and during my service I have constructively contributed in lots of database design modifications in SBI core database which reduced frequent failures and improved performance. • Major Activities done at TCS (SBI site):a) Upgradation of SBI Core Banking database (Size 20TB) from Oracle 9i to 10g.b) Storage migration from XP24K to P9500 for SBI Core Banking.c) Involved in Server upgradation from HP-PARISC to HP-Itanium.d) Associate Banks server migration (Application & Database).e) Implemented Materialized views and automated on demand refresh with email notification.f) Performed planned & unplanned DR drill for SBI & Associate Bank Core Banking (55 databases).g) Application of Oracle Patches for SBI Core Banking.h) Archiving of normal table to Partition table, which reduces Total size of Table+ Indexes from 8TB to 4TB.
