With a professional history as varied as mine, it's clear I've worn many hats. Even within each of those positions, I frequently found myself performing tasks that fell well outside the job description, and I wouldn't have it any other way. With profound curiosity, a sharp intellect and an affable nature, I prefer an environment that presents me with challenges that require me to make the most of my creativity. Whether as an artist, a chef, a manager, or an educator, I have found that my penchant for creative thought, coupled with my innate skills as a team player, have served me well. In each of my professional endeavors, my greatest sense of accomplishment has stemmed from successes in conceptualizing, developing and delivering something of value, which I then evaluate and adjust to achieve a particular goal. As a chef, it was sometimes as simple as an exciting new dish. As a museum educator, it was as complex as taking an entire educational program (forming collaborations with various community groups) from conception to implementation, and then critiquing it after delivery to determine its efficacy. Throughout it all, my ability to get along with all personality types (so far) has allowed me to be a team player who can be both persuasive and a good listener. I'm hoping my next career opportunity will permit me to engage my creative talents in ways that can benefit the workplace as well as the larger community. I also speak fluent Spanish.
