I always thought I would work for the government, do such a great job at it that I begin to change the world. As a kid, that sounded ideal and not quite far reached. But along the way things changed- I wrote a thesis exploring the oral imaginative world of the Ao-Nagas, helped start an edtech company to teach kids in rural areas through video conferencing- bringing together over a 1000 volunteers from all over the world, dabbled in E-commerce and wrote a bit too for offline and online publications. Quite a bit of everything but it’s been oddly satisfying.Over the years, I have realised that I like making things happen, I love working with people and building high-functioning teams, and I’m always fascinated by new technology and how we manoeuvre our lives around it. And that led me to start the biggest influencer convention in India. It’s a whole new industry now and I saw the opportunity for creators to come together network and learn from each other. It’s been a fun ride and I look forward to it being a success.
