Division Director Clinical Informatics
Current*Authorizes and oversees the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, support and security of the organizations EHR (eClinicalWorks) and periphery devices and software. *Coaches and directs IT, EHR, and HIM staff in operational activities to ensure compliance with organization goals, objectives, and the approved budget*Manages IT, EHR, and medical records staff including: supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions*Participates on all hardware and software evaluations along with vendor contracts for maintenance. Makes purchasing recommendations and monitors contract performance to ensure the organization receives the full scope of service detailed in IT contracts*Performs liaison duties between users, operations, and programming personnel in the areas of systems design, modifications, or trouble shooting*Collaborates with the Medical Director in developing, maintaining, and support functions for provision of Telehealth Services to clinics*Facilitates communication between staff, management, vendors and other technology resources within the organization*Designs, implements, and evaluates the systems that support end users in the productive use of computer hardware and software*Develops and implements all HIM policies and procedures including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision
