Coordinating the FFANB provincial conference in Miramichi

Serve the agricultural and agri-food industry in New Brunswick; implement the decision of the NBAC Board of Directors (BOD); manage the operations, resources and services of the organisation; organization and attendance of meetings (BOD, AGM and national meetings); preparation and presentation of reports to BOD and the Adaptation Division of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC); analyse financial data for the BOD, the membership as well as for AAFC; initiate and develop projects in consultation with many farm and agri-food organizations; receive and evaluate the eligibility and profitability of projects, present them to the Board for adjudication and monitor them once approved; liaison with local, regional, provincial and federal governments for input and to align priorities with industry as well as to avoid duplication of funding; ensure the representation of the organisation with the media, public and private sector organisations; liaison with the other 13 agricultural and agri-food industry councils across Canada to develop partnerships. Assist agricultural producers with the Environmental Farm Plan; Coordinate integrated pest management; Organize on-farm demonstration activities for members; Develop tools to facilitate the implementation of the nutrient management plan; Grant writing and management.

Promote the company's products to farmers in New Brunswick, near the Canadian Border in Main as well as in PEI; Provide technical support to clients (soil test, nutritional information, etc): Setting up and operating displays at trade shows.
