As a data collector with Community Health Works in the Northern division of Fort Portal City Council, I played a crucial role in gathering and documenting essential health-related information within the community. This involved conducting field surveys, interviews, and observations to collect accurate and up-to-date data on various public health indicators.My responsibilities included liaising with local health authorities, community leaders, and residents to establish trust and cooperation during data collection activities. I utilized my strong communication skills to explain the purpose and significance of the data collection efforts, ensuring that participants understood the value of their contributions.During the data collection process, I adhered to strict ethical guidelines and maintained confidentiality to safeguard sensitive information. I employed various data collection tools and techniques, such as questionnaires and mobile data gathering apps, to efficiently capture and record the required data.Working in a diverse community, I demonstrated cultural sensitivity and adaptability, which facilitated meaningful interactions and accurate data representation.
