Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read my profile! My name is Amoolya Narayan and I am currently looking for work opportunities in Dubai. For the last 14 years, I worked in India, across multiple disciplines, and developed a unique mix of skills and sensibilities. I began my career as a corporate lawyer where I read the law extensively, drafted clear and concise deal documentation and participated in negotiations for private equity and acquisition transactions. Later, since the time of the pandemic, I worked as a trainer and HR consultant. It was an opportunity to simplify complex concepts, develop learning programs and work closely with people. I am in touch with my creative self through writing, music and performance arts. A few things I would like to highlight for you here are:1. Writing, Editing and Structuring Content: While AI may be a formidable tool in this area, the intervention of the human mind, personality and experience still makes all the difference. I try to bring thoughtfulness and intelligence into everything I write. This includes creative documents like blogs and think pieces and technical material like training content. 2. Communication and Employee Engagement: I am passionate about helping others learn, by centring the learner’s experience and the learning journey. This is because I make sure to know the subject back to front and I care about program outcomes like awareness, retention, and application. I use different modalities to engage the audience. I also write and create audio, video based media to promote awareness, interest and engagement around topics of note. 3. Ethics and Compliance: My years of legal practice have given me a strong foundational understanding of the importance of compliance as a practice area. On a personal level, I deeply identify with ethical workplace behaviour and strive to uphold the values and culture of the organisation in which I work. As a manager, I have ensured that my team complies with the policy and codes of the organisation. 4. Personal Value System: I am ambitious, driven to learn and deliver and I work well with people. My former colleagues have often said that I am a hard worker and easy to work with. I believe that any work done with curiosity, empathy, and drive can make a difference.I have worked with clients such as Tiger Global, Sequoia, Lightspeed Venture Partners, LEGO, Syngenta, GroupM, ITC, Ford, and Allianz, as well as several MSMEs and startups, over the course of my career.
