I am a civil engineering student at the University of Illinois Chicago, pursuing a bachelor of science degree with an expected graduation date of 2025. I have a strong interest and passion for designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure systems that enhance the quality of life and safety of communities. I have recently completed a structural engineering intern role at Orion Engineers, PLLC, where I gained valuable hands-on experience in conducting comprehensive inspections on various infrastructure assets, including bridges, sign structures, and structural walls. I have also developed core competencies in using industry-standard tools and software, such as CarteGraph, to efficiently update asset reports, track defective tasks, and attach relevant photographs to enhance documentation and analysis.I am fluent in Spanish and have received multiple scholarships and awards for my academic excellence and dedication to civil engineering.
